The talented goalkeeper, David de Gea is said to be signing a new contract with Manchester United once his current one expires next year. Manchester United is assured that the 27-year old footy star will stay on and not consider other transfer offers.

During his time with the English Giants, De Gea has constantly been approached by Real Madrid. It seems that De Gea is very happy with his current position, however, and Manchester United is certain that their top goalkeeper will stick around for some time.

It comes as no surprise that Manchester United will be doing all they can to keep De Gea, as he has been their player of the year for several consecutive years. After multiple formal discussions, all the parties are sure that De Gea will sign a new five-year contract come next season.

The folks back at Real Madrid were not impressed by the news, which caused a frantic Lopetegui to start shopping for other probable goalkeepers. Julen Lopetegui was introduced as Real Madrid’s new manager recently and noted that finding a goalkeeper for the team is first on his list of things to do.

Other possible goalkeepers on Real Madrid’s list include Roma’s Alisson Becker as well as Thibaut Courtois, who currently plays for Chelsea. Next season’s players for Manchester United have been discussed, and we can say with certainty that David De Gea will be in the ranks.

On right-back, United will have the talented Diogo Dalot after they triggered his €20 million release clause. We’ll be keeping an eye out for what the team will do come next season. We suspect a couple of shifts taking place, including Fred as the Center Midfielder.

As De Gea is very happy with his current position, we believe that he will continue with Manchester United next season.
